What we aim for
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Text and controls have a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background.
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall on phones.
- Motion stops when your device asks for reduced motion, and the reviews strip has a Pause button.
- Photos have text descriptions. The service area map has a plain list of the same links.
- Forms have labels above each field and explain errors in words.
How we test
Each release is checked with automated tests (axe and Lighthouse) at phone and desktop widths. Automated tests find about half of the problems people meet, so we also check pages by keyboard.
